Spontaneous Remission
The other means of recovery from pain is something doctors have called “spontaneous remission”. All this means is that some people get significantly better on their own and doctors don’t really understand how this occurs. That’s why they call it “spontaneous”. The fact is, there are some people who have overcome just about every major medical problem despite being told by doctors there was nothing more that could be done for them. Some of the most dramatic and well-documented cases have involved spontaneous recovery from cancer. Some people who have been given a very bleak prognosis by their doctors have actually recovered from cancer.

Participants in pain groups who have been told by their doctors following an injury that they would never walk again, and eventually proved their doctors wrong. Perhaps you are aware of someone who overcame a very bleak medical prognosis and in a sense fooled the doctors! J

Actually, most cases of so-called “spontaneous remission” are not considered spontaneous at all by the person who actually recovers. Instead, the person usually attributes the recovery to some event, or something they did, or something that was done to them or for them. The person may attribute his or her recovery to a significant change in their life situation, a change in diet, a change in attitudes, adoption of a particular unconventional healing approach, or through spiritual/religious means such as prayer, faith, and divine intervention. If fact, those who have studied the phenomenon of spontaneous remission report that in most cases the person made a significant change from their previous ways of thinking, behaving, and living. One former pain program participants reported that his chronic back pain had completely disappeared. He attributed this to the fact that he had learned to let go of stress and had found a new job.

In other words, the recovery is only considered “spontaneous” from the doctor’s standpoint since it occurs outside the realm of standard medical practice. Recovery from physical problems outside of medical treatment can and do occur. To suggest that you should spend all of your time and energy looking for some non-medical cure is wrong. Rather, you should keep in mind that there is a lot about the body, mind, and spirit that are beyond the current scope of scientific medical understanding.

So to answer the original question, Yes, there is a Reason to Hope. The challenge is to maintain hope for a better future, while doing everything you can to take good care of yourself today using ALL means of treatment and healing.

What if toxic emotions are stored in tissue and are able to cause malfunction of organs and systems such as the endocrine and immune system? What if toxic relationships drain life force energy from these same systems? What if physical, emotional, and mental trauma can be deposited in different parts of the body only later to predispose these areas to cancer? If these mechanisms exist, we can now understand how spiritual healing and energy releasing techniques such as hypnotherapy, energy medicine, and forgiveness can facilitate healing of even terminal disease.

The Institute of Noetic Sciences has published its findings in a book called Spontaneous Remission by Brendan O’Reagan and Caryle Hirshberg. This book studies many instances of spontaneous remission of cancer and other life threatening conditions. It is thorough the careful study of these cases of remission that we may be able to understand the mechanisms behind these “miracles”. It is only our lack of scientific understanding, especially as relates to “intent” (the effect of the mental on the physical), that stands between our current understanding of the mechanism of disease and health and that understanding of the “miracles” that we seek to comprehend. As we explore intuitive diagnosis and energy medicine, much will be revealed. By simply expanding our current understanding of how the energy of toxic emotions, toxic chemicals, and toxic relationships interact with out immune system and energy levels, we are beginning to have a whole new way of understanding health and disease. We are finding new treatment methods that raise the energy and encourage release of negative energy. Health professionals

already use methods such as massage therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, yoga, meditation, Ayurvedic medicine, hypnotherapy, chiropractic manipulation, Reiki, and Laying on of Hands to facilitate HEALING.

Definition of Spontaneous Remission
In Light Touch Intervention a field or space is created, through intention, resulting in energy transformation into a pattern where the so called physical plane laws cease to exist (a concept familiar to quantum physicists). In this space, Light shines on the original blueprint of a system, organ or part of the body, resulting in a moving out of the physical body that that is unlike the original blueprint and/or for the original system functionality to return, ignite or

wake up. This description is a felt observation made or a Knowingness. In describing that observational knowingness, it can be said, when energy healing occurs, the divine blueprint returns from , DIS-EASE, such as cancerous growths that are outside the natural order of the original design. DIS-EASE & DIS-ORDER, through desire, intention & attention, move out of the physical & mental. Science has proven that at the Quantum level thought & matter are interchangeable and are determined by desire.

It may not even matter what modality is used. In my experience, healing can occur with surgery or with laying on of hands with equal success in some cases. We can use the magic of medicine as well as the medicine of LIGHT. It is the energy field of the space that is held with the intent that heals, rather than the props.
